I live in Fl., a  active guy. At age 74 I have no health problems. One morning about a yr. ago I woke up and was deaf  in my right ear. I was told a hearing aid would not work. My Dr. recomended BAHA. I took a simulated test in the Surgeons office and said lets do it. The surgery was a month ago and at this time I am concerned about the pain and the loss of feeling on my right side. Should I be free from this in a month are when should I expect to be better?

It has now been 2 months since the surgery. I still have pain around the area of the implant. I take 3 alive a day for the pain. Can anyone out there give me a time table about themselves, like how long did they have pain?
