2 Months After Activation - Got my mappings right this time!

I went to the audiologist today. I was having big problems with my maps in the past 2 weeks. This was my 4th visit in the past 2 weeks and I think we finally got it corrected! Whew!
My hearing levels was changing rapidly recently and previous maps from 2 weeks ago just didn't work because my levels changed again after the maps. Both processors weren't balanced together, with the left side processor "cranked" up to try to compensate. I felt so lopsided! LOL. I got it balanced out finally last week. I'm so glad I asked them to put a progressive map on P4 previously, which is P1 but with boosted levels & louder. I found out I needed to switch from P1 (regular program which is Everyday with ADRO) to P4 to use as my main program.
So today I had them move P4 over to P1 as my main program, P2 is still Everyday with Whisper, P3 is Music with Everyday, ADRO, Whisper and boosted frequencies and P4 is a new progressive map based on P1. That way if my levels change again in the next few weeks, I can switch to P4 without having to run in for another appointment with the audiologist.
I finally got my M/T telecoil mix fixed. It was supposed to be on all of my programs but when I would activate to M/T, all I got was a buzzing sound. This time, we fixed it so I'm so relieved to be able to talk on the phone in a noisy environment. I was without that for 2 weeks. I feel like my old "new" self again! :-)
My hearing keeps improving weekly! Today I went to lunch with my co-workers and I sat in the back seat of the SUV. I was able to follow along in the conversation and join in at different times. I would have never ever been able to do this prior to cochlear implants. I would always just sit there and look out the window and think about other things because I couldn't understand what was being said.
Cochlear implants has really changed my life! I can't state this enough! It's really a miracle! I'm very grateful for Cochlear for providing technology to be able to hear like this!
