1 time CIs vs 4-5 times HA

I was walking my dog and when I walked past my neighbor friend, about almost 2 house down, my friend, Molly called my name 1 time when she was coming out of her back yard and I turned around to reponse back to her right of the bat. Molly was jumped up and down excitied and thrilled and said YOU HEARD ME!!!  I was in awe and excitied and almost had tears!!! I realize I could hear her almost two houses down from her. Before my CIs, she called me 4-5 times when I realized she was trying to calling me with my hearing aid. I was surprised and thrilled!!  What can I do without CIs???!!!!  I love it!!   Smile

I'm doing good so far except I still sounded like underwater. I'm finally getting Mapping coming on Jan. 17th and look forward to get it tweak. Still working on cellphone. I know I will break it thru someday soon!!!

My baby great nephew, Miller is growing like weed!!!! I had blast with him. I could hear him making noises, gurgles, even making noises while he was sucking his pacifier!!! Here is Miller at 2 weeks old!!

You will break thru on the Cell Phone Cathy. I know you are happy to be able to hear your neighbor now. This is great by the way. I didn't think I was going to come out of the tunnel but finally did as my mappings progressed. I pray this will be the one for you. I know you will let us know you have a GREAT DAY!!!! also. Your Great Nephew is just adorable! ~SharonC~

Hey girlfriend!! Super exciting news here!! It just gets better all the time...and I know you'll get their with the cell phone, too! Next time I am in OKC (right now looks like March 9th and 10th) we can play with the cell phone and neckloops...you might even consider going by the Faye Donalson Hearing Helper room and Vernice, Larry or Sylvia could show you some of the Bluetooth neckloops to try... Miller and Carson will have to meet one day...super cute, guy! Hugs from Houston, Paula
