A Step in Raising Awareness....

Today, after several months of interviews, the Times Leader in Wilkes-Barre published a story on my implant experience, plus a second story with some background on the procedure itself.

Here are the links:

Let me know what you think, gang... I think they did a pretty good job. I hope it helps someone "banish the bubble" in their lives.

Wow, what a wonderful story & very educational, too! I enjoyed reading it and will definitely share this one with family & friends to help them understand more about the CI, it's gradual progress and what it can do. Thanks for sharing the article & for being willing to be interview for this awesome article, Jimbo.

This was a really nice and enjoyable read. It is a medical miracle and I am glad that you received it. You look very happy in that photo with the Beatles collection!

Jim that is a nicely written article about your experience. I'm so pleased you helped the reporter understand the finer details of the CI, as so many just glaze over it. Truly advocating the benefits means explaining how it works - thank you. I agree with Iola that your photo with your Beatles collection is wonderful. I, too, am a Beatles fan and know you must really be enjoying that. This Christmas is going to be so very special for all of us new CI recipients. Blessings! Ellen
