Like a ripple in a pond...

When I decided to share my CI experience with a local newspaper, I had no idea what the impact would be. My hope was that perhaps someone locally would benefit from my story.

But like tossing a pebble into a pond and watching the ripples spread slowly in all directions, there have been some wonderful and unforseen results.

First, the story was picked up by the Associated Press. Next, my company put my story on its intranet site. (That led to my discovering I had a cousin I didn't even know existed working at another branch of my company).

And, finally, I was asked to write something about my experience for the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation. (I'm working on that now, and like everything else, I'm running late on it!)

Ripples, ripples ...all across the pond.

Something to think about, isn't it?

I love the ripples you have created. We all do make ripples. Sometimes we don't notice how far they reach.

I have always heard that blessings carry with them great responsibilities. From what I am reading and observing, you are "takin it to the streets". The key is educating the public. Keep up the great work you are doing.

Fantastic! Let me know if you'd like help spreading the word and I'll get you in touch with someone in the Denver home office.
