Countless hours of my pre-Baha days were spent searching the Internet for a doctor or surgeon who might be able to help. I spent many hours searching many hospital otolaryngology staff and reading the articles they wrote, noting their names as well as any other medical professional mentioned. I sent out letters seeking advice. Many responded, but only to say there was nothing more that could be done and that my care was on the right course. Fortunately, I continued to research believing that help was out there.

Eventually, a surgeon, whose advice I sought for a sinus infection, steered me to a Baha surgeon.

Since receiving my Baha, I have not had the need to search the Internet looking for help. The Baha has provided the help I was searching for.
