I have single sided hearing.  During a stapedectom proceedure in 2004, something went wrong and all the nerve endings in my left ear died.  I have worn bi-cros aids and single ear aids.  I am very unhappy with both.  The bi-cros was wired which is a problem in itself and it picked up far to much wind and background noise.

I am schedule for a consult for a possible BAHA system on January 19th, 2009 and am really looking forward to it. I will post the results when I return.
