My Story
Welcome to the Cochlear Community! I hope that you enjoy your time here and find the community helpful for all of your hearing loss questions. I, myself, have bilateral cochlear implants and am enjoying being able to hear once again. You can read about my experiences in my Blog (click on the blog link) and can ask me any questions you might have. I can also help you find other friends that are similar to you...whether you are a parent of a 2 year old, a 76 year old grandpa who wants to hear their granddaughter again, or someone who is deaf in one ear and looking to see if a Baha is a solution for you, I can connect you to people. I work for Cochlear Americas as an Awareness manager. part of my job is to create awareness about what a cochlear implant and a baha are and who can benefit from them. I also manage a network of people who are passionate about what their cochlear implant or Baha experience has done for them. These people go out in their own communities and create awareness. If you have a Nucleus implant and are interested in joining the community please visit www.awareness.cochlear.com to find out more. For now, take some time to explore the community and if you have any questions just drop me a message. Take care and I am looking forward to hearing from you.
