I haven't had my implant yet and I have the same problem. My Dr referred me to the ENT and he is in network. They turned around and referred me to an audiologists that is not in network. Right now the ENT's office is working on trying to get the insurance company to make an exception and accept the audiologists as in network. I searched my insurance company and they currently have no one in network that does the CI mappings. I am fortunate to have an ENT's office who is proactive in getting the services for their patients.

All I could suggest would be to use the Find a Clinic feature (one of the tabs at the top of the page here, or on Cochlear's website www.cochlear.com) contacting the ones nearest you directly and asking if they accept your insurance. Good luck with your search and all the best with getting a 2nd CI! ; ) Camille

I had my first CI little over 4yrs. ago, just recently I went back to the dr. that did my implant and talked to him about my 2nd CI. After visiting my ENT, I was told that my Audiologist is no longer in my insurance network and that they wanted me to go to a ENT for my 2nd CI that was closer to home. After checking into all this I realized that they are not in my insurance network either. Very angry and depressed cause I'm wondering who is gonna do the adjustments or yearly check-up on my present processor since I no longer have an audiologist in my network. Can anyone help Thanks
