My Story

I am scheduled to have a cochlera implant on the left ear on Dec.23

This has been a long time coming since I have had hearing loss since

8th grade. I have struggled with hearing aids in the past and thought

my degree of hearing loss was being helped by aids but recently I

have just lost my patience with the aids.

      I am worried about the care after surgery and if I will be able

to do it. I will eventually get another implant for my right ear. If

anyone would like to share their experience with aftercare after

the surgery it would help.
