Hi!!!! I'm the proud mother of my 3and1/2 year old daughter. Before leaving the hospital they did the new born hearing test and she failed...we took her back a few weeks later for another test and she failed again this went on for 5 months.They keep telling us maybe its just fluid and it should drain. then we took her for another opinion and found out she had to have tubes put in...they did yet again another test and found out she had a sever-to profond hearing lose in both ears we where told she needed hearing aids.she got her first set when she was about 7 months old.she wore hearing aids for a couple of years and we noticed that she wasn't getting everything that she should be getting.Again we took her for another opinion and this time they found she need the implant in the left ear.......she was implanted on July 15Th 2010 she will be turned on Aug.6Th and we can't wait to see the world open up to her
