Telecoil Accessory Option

How It Works

 Personal Listening

Silhouettes

Neckloops

Tip: Use a "headphone extension cable" for extra length, if desired.

Telecoil accessories such as silhouettes and neckloops allow instant access to sound via the telecoil with devices equipped with a headphone jack (CD players, iPods, portable TVs and DVD players, game systems). Telecoil accessories provide a clear signal in a variety of listening environments. Since nothing is connected to the processor itself, they can be used with battery or electrically operated audio/video components.

Silhouettes are available with single or dual earhooks. Place earhook next to processor on ear and switch to a telecoil setting.

Neckloop is placed around shoulders. Bilateral Telecoil users can activate telecoil on both sides for "surround sound".

Looped chair pad

Infrared and FM TV systems can be used with the induction neckloop with processor(s) in the telecoil mode. The neckloop can also be disconnected and the Personal Audio Cable or a silhouette with 3.5mm plug can be connected.

Room loops and loop pads can be connected to a TV or stereo. Activate telecoil to hear sound in the looped area.
