I am a parent of a two year old boy who was born with a temporarily conductive hearing loss. At age 3 months, he progressed to moderate hearing loss.  At the age of 9 months he progressed to severe/profound.  With the hearing aids he hears only the sounds ‘AAAAAAAA….’.  He had Cochlear implants on April 25, 2009
